Brisbane’s Best Steak?
January 4, 2010Headed out to The Morrison Hotel last night to try out the steak that everyone has been raving on about. When we arrived out the front, it’s not the most fancy place you’ve seen, but as you walk inside, you can tell that the restaurant section has been refurbished and how successful they are with the sheer amount of staff and customers. I ordered the first option on the steak menu, Rib Eye on the Bone, with an average mains ranging from $20-$45, this was probably in the middle at $34.50, served with your choice of cesar or house salad, and chips or house potato. I went with the cesar (which I thought had a bit too much dressing) and the house potato which is a mash they put back into the skin of a potato and roast with some cheese ontop, quite nice. The steak was nicely done and the mushroom sauce was fantastic. I’m not sure if it’s the best steak in Brisbane, but I’m certainly going back to try their other offerings.

January 4, 2010Obviously, if your in the market for a super car and you live in QLD, you’ve probably heard of this place. Home to Ferrari, Maserati, Bentley and Lotus (with Audi and Lamborghini fairly close by), look no further to drool at some of Europeans finest offerings. The Black F430 was my pick of the night, followed closely by the Superleggera in orange. This 599 wasn’t too shabby either.

Past Month
December 14, 2009Been fairly busy in the past month which is why there has been a lack of updates. FD is sold and new project is currently under transformation. More updates on that soon, but here’s some pics of a mate’s S15 which he recently picked up. Just some quick pics of him trial fitting some new wheels.

October 27, 2009Ordered a new Hori Real Arcade Pro 3 SA from Japan on Friday and it arrived yesterday, that’s EMS for ya! This stick has all Sanwa parts as opposed to my old one which only has a Sanwa stick and Hori made buttons. The SF4 stick is for sale for anyone interested, email me for details.

October 26, 2009Check out some deals on the following sites. There are some new hotels going at a stupidly cheap rate, say $3 a night bundled with cheap flights. This was all started by the Air Asia boss, Tony Fernandes. The rooms are pretty small and only have bare essentials, but for the price you pay, who’s going to complain.
